Sticky Hearts

Look at how a little bit of pink tape and a heart punch can brighten up a neighborhood! I was surfing around the blogosphere, and found this freelance photographer's site. How adorable is this??
Or this? She's really good w/ cutting. Haha.

Bento Boxes & Funky Lunches

[Ok, I couldn't resist posting this when I stumbled upon it. Maybe my "break" from posting is over!]

Are your kids bored with lunch? Picky eaters bored with food in general? Check out these awesome sandwich creations by Funky Lunch. They took the ordinary lunchtime sandwich and made them into these fun works of art in an effort to encourage kids to eat. I think my picky nephew would love the Mater from Cars sandwich! These fun lunches reminded me of the adorable and super healthy school lunch Sally of Shim+Sons put together for her kindergartner. I love the bunny-shaped pb+j sandwiches and the star-shaped cheese! Can you make my lunch too, Sally?? =)
Ohh, looks like she used one of these laptop lunchboxes. Their website has a whole photo gallery of laptop lunches. How fun!

Taking a little break

It's been a looong week for me. First, the hubs was home sick for almost all of last week. Then, I got sick with a nasty, high fever...could it have been the flu?? But we got the flu shot! I am almost (finally) fully recovered from the hot flashes, body aches, light-headedness and congestion. Now I must tackle my long list of to-do's. I've got emails to reply to, projects to complete, laundry to do, floors to vacuum... Oh my! Being out of commission for a week has left my house an embarrassingly dirty mess. I'll be taking a break for a few days. Have a great week!

A Raggedy Ann Party

The very famous event planner, Amy Atlas, came to mind when I saw this delightful Raggedy Ann party. Click here to check out this AMAZING party Brittany of One Charming Party put together! I love how everything was color coordinated down to the candies in the goodie bags. Brittany, you really out-did yourself with this party! Everything looks absolutely fabulous. The photos Nicole Hill Gerulat took of the party are equally amazing.

DIY Floral Corsage Tank

Instead of spending $36 on this JCrew fluttery flower tee, how about making your very own with a simple ribbed tank and some scraps of tulle?I found this awesome tutorial for making your own floral corsage tank. All you need is a simple tank top (like this one from Target), scraps of fabric, embellishments, needle, thread, and velcro. [I have a couple of those Target tanks. They're nice and long w/ a bit of stretch to maintain its shape. For $7.99, they're a steal!] Anyway, click here to view the instructions at Such Pretty Things. Please share your results if you end up trying this out! I would love to see how it turns out.
