Aren't these bouquets fabulous? I found this great article on realsimple.com on how to turn supermarket flowers into these beautiful bouquets! Who would've guessed these flowers came from the supermarket. I'm impressed!

My friend is getting married in August, so I've been constantly on the lookout for cute DIY wedding ideas. Their reception will be in their friend's big backyard.

I found this great DIY wedding. The groom designed their invitations and they made these buttons for the place cards. How creative is that?? Playing games at a backyard wedding is such a great idea! I'm going to have to suggest that to my friend. =)

Here's another great DIY project from 100 Layer Cake. I really like the bright pink on the inside of the can. How lovely.

Summer Lovin'...

Summers are always full of weddings, BBQs, and other gatherings. We just look for an excuse to enjoy the weather outside. Well...I've been trying to avoid going out for the past couple weeks though. The heat + humidity lately has been pretty unbearable. Here's a picture recap of the happenings this month.

These are the CUTEST family photos! I love the bold, primary colors, and how everyone is color coordinated. Apparently, there was a prop stylist involved. How awesome is that? I wanna have a bunch of kids just so I can do this. Hehe.

Naturally Victoria's Secret: I was recently at Victoria's Secret buying a shower gift when my eyes were drawn to this beautiful, new line of body care. The packaging is simple yet sophisticated. It was very tastefully done. Quite the opposite of how the stores were remodeled a couple years ago with all the neon pink lights. That was rather loud and tacky.




Now we can't forget about Target, my favorite store. Their line of cleaning supplies, Method, has great packaging. I was definitely drawn to their products because of the clean and simple design. I'm a sucker for that—what can I say? =)

Jeans aren't always the most practical pant in the summer because they can be too heavy. But you still want to cover up your legs if you're out enjoying the sunset...and want to avoid those darn mosquitoes. These JCrew pants would've been perfect last weekend at my friend's BBQ. The temperature dropped from the low 80s in the day to a chilly 70 degrees at night. It would be cool enough in the day to wear these and warm enough at night. Linen's so versatile!
