Even though Fall is in full force, it doesn't hurt to wistfully remember days of summers past. Here's a lovely wedding I found on Style Me Pretty with beautiful flowers and paper goods in summery yellow and gray. I love the huppah-like altar. It makes a nice focal point for the ceremony. Outdoor weddings in picturesque locations are beautiful, aren't they? I didn't even consider it for my wedding here in Chicago. The weather is just too unpredictable. But if I were in California, that would've been a different story...
If you could have changed something about your own wedding, what would you have done differently?

Peachberry Cobbler in a Jar
Did you know you can bake in a mason jar?? How cool is that? :) This Peachberry Cobbler looks absolutely heavenly. I really want to eat something piping hot and delicious on this chilly day. This would be prefect! And it sounds easy enough to make. Now I just need to get me some mason jars... What's your favorite dessert to make?

Happy October!

Where did the time go?? Sadly, summer is over, and autumn is in full force. *sigh* When I think of autumn, pumpkin patches, apple orchards and falling leaves come to mind.
What's your favorite part of the fall season?

Designer Diapers?
Did you guys catch that Huggies Jean Diapers commercial last month? Has anyone actually bought them?? Haha...I think it's kind of funny.

At Target, I noticed there was a new line of designer diapers by Cynthia Rowley. Now these are cute! Are the mommies out there into designer diapers?

Pet Costumes @ Target
Can you say...cute? Target has some really cute pet costumes. Can you imagine Jobie in one of these? Hehe. I bought her a hot dog costume a few years ago, and she absolutely HATED it. Her ears were down, and she looked miserable. I think the squirrel costume is hilarious. Jobie goes crazy for squirrels. I wonder what she would think if she knew she had a squirrel costume on. Hahaha...

The Sweetest Birthday Present
My good friend, Cinthia, sent me one of the sweetest and most thoughtful birthday gifts EVAR! Oy...I wasn't going to reveal my age, but sharing this gift kind of makes me have to. Haha. I turned the big 3-0 last week. So for my birthday, Cinthia got me 30 gifts. She got me snacks we ate in our college days, crafty embellishments that she loves to use and wanted to share, a bunch of handmade mini cards, things I posted about on this blog, and other lovely things she thought I'd like. Oh, and for gift #30, she got me a pair of J.Crew wedges! (What the heck?! Talk about overly generous!) She wrapped and labeled each individual item with a note. I was SO delighted to go through each layer of the box. I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning. Thanks so much, Cinthia!!!

Seesaw Letterpress 2011 Calendar
How beautiful is this letterpress calendar by Seesaw?? I really like how the calendar portion is perforated so you can tear it off and use the top as art!
