Yummy, delicious braised pork belly

I think I'm going to have to give this recipe a try. My husband and I tried out Takashi, a Japanese-French fusion restaurant, for our 3 year anniversary a couple nights ago. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly appetizer. Boy were our taste buds happy! It was absolutely DELICIOUS. We were very close to ordering another one. It tasted just like the Chinese pork belly dishes my dad used to make. Apparently, this is a popular dish in many parts of East and Southeast Asia.
